This article examines the value constants of Russian society and their impact on the consolidation of the population in the context of some civilizational challenges. The main Russian values on the basis of which the state and society as a whole should function were presented. Particular attention was paid to the traditional values of Russia as the foundation for the consolidation of Russian society. The work emphasized the need to transmit generally significant values to the public in order current to overcome current threats and challenges that have arisen on the path of Russia’s development. The authors adhere to the point of view that the development of Russian society (in terms of value aspects) requires joint efforts of the state and citizens, built primarily on the joint adoption of established traditional Russian values.
