Abstract
Ties between levels of trust and individualism prevalence degree are discussed based on the study of attitudes and value orientations of East-European youth (Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania, Czechia). A variety of trust types were identified: generalized, interpersonal, institutional, local, societal. Mutual causation of high trust level and individualism is argued for.
