Abstract

The aim of this work was to analyze expert opinions obtained in the course of an international study and to identify key scenarios, technologies, and subjects of contemporary Internet transformation as a digital space of mass social political communication. Under conditions of intensive penetration of Internet communication technologies into current political practice, identifying possible digital space evolution vectors and its potential impact on the functioning processes of contemporary society has become a main objective of the article. Also, work discusses new network actors in current politics in an attempt to analyze the potential and features of their functioning. The subject of this work was also possible changes in the socio-political sphere in the context of contemporary Internet communication technologies development. The article presents possible transformations of traditional public policy sphere related to the ongoing political space digitalization.
