Abstract

To research the ideas of modern Russian students about social norms, it seems promising to study the views of those who in the near future will use their professional competencies in the norm-creating activities – law students. The authors work with empirical material obtained in 2016 (N = 374) and 2020 (N = 415) on the basis of branches of the All-Russian State University of Justice (RLA of the Ministry of Justice of Russia). The patterns of formation and mutual influence of legal, moral and religious norms were revealed. It is proved that in the social imaginary of young people, there are tendencies to exclude minority groups (sexual, national, religious) from the rule-making processes, although an increase in tolerance towards these groups is recorded in dynamics.
