Abstract
Impact of Korean war (1950-1953) on Korean society is analyzed. It is asserted that the war, while destroying remnants of feudal class relation and improving position 163 of women in society has to a considerable degree influenced country’s modernization and played positive role in speedy industrialization during1960th.
