Post-Socialist Future as a Subject of Sociology Research (from the Standpoint of V. Nersesyant's Civilism Theory)
Dr. Sci. (Law), Chief Researcher, Institute of State and Law Russian Academy of Sciences, Moscow, Russia email@example.com
Under the conditions of growing uncertainty, the foresight of the future becomes а most important direction of research in theoretical sociology and social philosophy as the sciences responsible for the formation of a complete picture of the world. This is especially true for Russia, which is still at a transitional (postsocialist) stage of its history. The conceptualization of the Russia post-socialist future requires the rehabilitation in the national social science concepts of capitalism and socialism epistemological status, without which it is impossible to analyze the current situation in Russia from the dialectical logic standpoint of the of world history. Considering this situation in the framework of the «thesis-antithesis-synthesis» paradigm, аcad. V.S. Nersesyants proposed the theory of civilism as a social system that could emerge by desocialization of socialist property in accordance with the legal principle of formal equality in freedom. The article provides an analysis of the theoretical content and practical significance of this theory for understanding and transforming modern social realities.
